It's Bree's home that I look forward to seeing the most, as it's filled with all sorts of treasures and nostalgic trends that are actually very 2025. I've spotted plenty of antique furniture, ornate lighting, and grand pieces of art in her home, all adding to the timeless elegance of its design.
Take this traditional dining room idea, despite edging on the more formal side, it could easily grace the pages of today's interior design magazines, embracing heritage design without feeling overly ornate. I love Desperate Housewives for its juicy plotlines and likeable characters, of course, but its enviable interiors are truly iconic and I am appreciating their timelessness even more on my second viewing. Each of the housewives' homes feels classic, chic, and sophisticated, but none are overly trendy, and for that reason, they don't feel dated, even 20 years on.
